NEW ZEALAND REAL ESTATE COMPANY LAUNCHES LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE

June, 2021

New Zealand Sothebys International Realty (NZSIR) has today launched
a new lifestyle magazine in a momentous first for the NZ real estate
industry.
Property Style is a complimentary printed magazine available through
all 18 NZSIR offices nationwide and selected urban street boxes. It will
also be distributed to a large selection of homes throughout New
Zealand and can be viewed as an e-magazine through the NZSIR
website.
The significant investment in print media is a bold move by a real estate
company and NZSIR GM, Marketing and Operations Clodagh Hall says
Property Style is another point of difference for the premium brand.
Property Style is the definitive guide for whats current in home, living
and the NZ property market, supported by a curated mix of editorial
with a strong focus on lifestyle, she says. The project has been a
labour of love for the marketing team at NZSIR and we are proud to
present a publication featuring high-quality editorial that we know New
Zealanders will enjoy.
The first issue of the quarterly Property Style magazine features
exclusive stories on TV presenter and interior designer Shelley Ferguson
and celebrity chef Josh Emett, as well as architecture and design news,
fashion and beauty, and a recipe shared by Waiheke Islands Mudbrick
Vineyard & Restaurant.
Although the NZSIR Property Style title is not new, the redeveloped
magazine now features 20-24 pages of captivating lifestyle content
fronting a high-quality, visual listings section showcasing NZs best
homes on the open market.
The magazine also serves as a vehicle for us to present the crème de la
crème of New Zealand property in an innovative way thats fresh and
engaging, and unlike any other marketing tool available in the country
right now, Hall says.
The aspirational magazine is an accurate reflection of NZSIRs success
during the past 12 months. Despite Covid-19 impacting global property
markets, the agency has performed phenomenally well and achieved a
total of $1.6 billion in sales for the 2020-2021 fiscal year significantly
exceeding the companys target.
NZSIR which has its head office in Queenstown and 137 agents across
the country also completed New Zealands highest residential sale last
year: a home in central Auckland sold for in excess of $23 million.
Like many businesses around the world, we were uncertain of the
impact that Covid-19 would have on global business and property
markets, Managing Director Mark Harris says. But the pandemic has
certainly reset a lot of perceptions about whats important in life, and
home and lifestyle are now higher priorities than ever before.
As a company we remained agile throughout 2020 and we continue to
respond to the needs of our vendors and buyers today through online
viewings, superior presentation, innovative marketing and an
acceleration in our digital presence and service. We are excited about
responding to those needs one step further this year with the
introduction of Property Style.
